What to do the Morning of Your Wedding

Updated: Sep 16, 2021

The morning of your big day should be such a memorable experience celebrating with the ones you love. Below are some of our favorite morning of the wedding ideas for both the traditional and non-traditional couples.

1. Morning Brunch.

There are so many fun ways to do a brunch on the morning of your wedding that can allow you to elongate the celebrations of the day and make sure everyone eats before the day gets away from them. Most importantly you must EAT the morning of the wedding and this makes it easier to not forget.

  • Do a special just the couple breakfast.

This way is very non-traditional but can allow for some last-minute reflection and bonding before they spend the majority of the day busy and apart. We are big proponents for quality time on the wedding day and this can be a great solution.

  • Separate brunch for wedding parties and their respective bride/ groom friend.

This is another great bonding moment for your wedding parties and can allow you to keep with traditions as well. It is the perfect activity for guys to partake in while the girls get ready. The girls usually end up doing brunch while they get ready as hair and makeup can already mean an early wake-up call for the big day.

2. Golf outing.

This one is fairly self-explanatory, but a fun activity for everyone to do while they are waiting for the majority of the day before any events happen for them. We all know the guys don't take long to get ready and this activity can keep them busy and laughing while they wait.

3. Lay out all of your details.

Not only is this helpful for photographers and videographers for content when they get to the venue, but it is also fun to see all of your little touches together.

4. Walk around and enjoy your vision come to life!

You've probably been planning this day for months. Don't forget to stop and smell the roses (literally). Take a deep breath, let your worries wash a way and take some mental pictures of these moments because you won't ever have another day quite like this one.

5. Drink some water.

It's easy to get caught up in the excitement of the day and forget to nourish your body. We know you'll remember the mimosas and the coffee, but don't forget some water too. This is a MARATHON of a day and you won't want to be dealing with dehydration or a headache when you get to actually going down the aisle.
