Vanessa + Joe had a beautiful fall wedding at The Armory Events this past October. The couple chose The Armory as their wedding venue based on the industrial and unique style and ability to choose their own vendors. They planned their wedding from Texas where they are from, with only 2 trips to the Poconos prior to the wedding.
The couple got ready in The Armory's preparation suites. They had the venue rented for the entire day and were able to do all of their wedding day activities on site in order to make their timeline more seamless and simple.
The couple did a few different first looks. Including with their son, the brides father, and the groom in order to their photos off site at a local park prior to the ceremony. The couple let their family watch from the balcony and loved the way this allowed for private first looks, but the family still got to feel included.
The outdoor photos for this group took place at Brodhead Creek Park just five minutes from The Armory with beautiful lake/ river views as well as a wooded area. We love recommending couples travel to this park as it has paved paths which make it easier to navigate in heels. Vanessa + Joe used The Armory's shuttle for the day to take this trip to the park and to shuttle their guests to and from the venue for the event.
They had a beautiful heartfelt ceremony on site with personal vows, and a sand pouring ceremony for their blended family. We love how excited and joyous their ceremony was.
After the ceremony the couple snuck out for a couple golden hour photos across the street and then finished their night with a killer party and delicious meal. We loved the team of vendors that this couple brought to our space to create an amazing night.
